Bi25FeO40 microspheres loading on g-C3N4 for high efficiency pollutants photodegradation

Bi25FeO40/g-C3N4 composites were synthesized for dechlorination of 2-chlorophenol (2-CP). The characteristic the obtained products was studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD), (FESEM) scanning electron microscopy, UV-vis reflectance. effects g-C3N4 content, photocatalyst dosage, solution pH, H2O2 on efficiency investigated, in addition to reusability nanocomposites. results showed that increasing content Bi25FeO40 nanocomposites, from 10 30 wt.%, greatly increased efficiency. 20wt.% and initial pH below 6.0 optimal conditions catalytic 2-CP. About 94.5% 2-CP completely removed after 150 minutes reaction at value 6.0. easily separated by an applied magnetic field. removal slightly decreased 90% when catalyst reused 4 runs. Therefore, can be considered as a promising method remediation pollution
